To hire one of our vehicles, the following requirements apply:

  • Hirers are not under 24 or over 75 years of age and have held a full valid UK licence or other country equivalent for more than 2 years.
  • Maximum 6 penalty points and no more than one accident in last three years.
  • Pick up 2pm, Drop off 10am
  • Prior to your hire all drivers must provide:
    • their driving licence, passport or ID card;
    • two utility bills or other proofs of address issued within 3 months of the hire period;
    • a DVLA licence ‘check code’ to share their driving record with us (to generate a code you will need to visit https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence).

The main driver must also supply a credit card matching their name/address (so we can ‘pre-authorise’ the security deposit of £1500).

We provide all the equipment you need to explore Scotland easily and comfortably. Our unique Alu-Cab Canopy Camper (much more than just a rooftop tent) requires no ladder; you enter from inside and can stand up inside the truck completely). The 270-degree awning keeps you fully sheltered in all types of weather. A kitchen, fridge, shower, lights, charging outlets, bike rack, dog box and even heater for those colder nights are all included at no extra cost. We've carefully designed & thought of everything, so you don't have to — for a stress-free camping trip that saves you time and money.

You only need to pack a bag.

Whether you're looking to tour the North Coast 500, explore Glen Coe, sightsee along the North East 250, or travel around the Isle of Skye, Mull, Outer Hebrides or the many other breathtaking islands, our overland vehicles will get you there.
